Iron Butt Association - SaddleSore and other rides

IBA based rides can be done at any time of year, and are often organised independently by the riders who are attempting them. There are a variety of certificates which a rider can aim to accomplish, the most common of which is the SaddleSore 1600K - 1,600km within a 24 hour period.

There are a number of NZDR riders who might undertake a number of these types of rides in any given year. Often they might be willing to buddy-up with someone else who might want to obtain their first IBA certificate.

Special rides include: ANZAC-Day Ride, the Four Seasons' rides, a SantaSore and others.
